My Story
The Journey Behind the Coach
From a young age, I was a multi-sport athlete, a dedicated student, and someone others often looked up to. From the outside, it may have seemed like I had everything figured out.

The reality was different.

Like many people, I struggled to find direction and understand what I wanted from life. Throughout that uncertainty, three values remained constant:

-
Be someone others can aspire to be.
-
Pursue work that positively impacts others.
-
Live a life that honors those who came before me and inspires those who come after me.

As someone who once silently struggled with mental health challenges, I understand that everyone is carrying something—whether visible or invisible. One of the greatest lessons I've learned is that asking for help, for your body or your mind, is not a sign of weakness. It's a sign of strength.
Today, I use fitness as a vehicle to help people become stronger, more confident, and more capable in every aspect of life.

Throughout my coaching career, I've had the privilege of working with professional, collegiate, and youth athletes, as well as individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. From helping athletes maximize performance to supporting people in building strength, improving quality of life, or overcoming physical limitations, my goal remains the same: to meet people where they are and help them reach their full potential.

My journey has taken me across Canada, and each place has played a role in shaping the coach and person I am today.

Ladysmith, British Columbia

Ladysmith will always be home.

My family, lifelong friends, coaches, and community laid the foundation for everything I've accomplished. This is where my love for sport, recreation, and personal growth began. The values I learned here continue to guide me every day.

Any success I've had is a reflection of the people who helped shape me.

Wilcox, Saskatchewan

At 15 years old, I left home to attend Athol Murray College of Notre Dame.
Leaving my family and hometown was one of the most difficult challenges I've faced, but it became one of the most transformative experiences of my life.

Here, I learned the importance of discipline, perseverance, attention to detail, and meaningful relationships.

During this time, I met a Strength and Conditioning Coach who became the role model I desperately needed. His ability to lead with both accountability and respect left a lasting impression on me and sparked my passion for the fitness industry.

Yarmouth, Nova Scotia
At 18, I moved across the country to pursue my junior hockey career.
Living thousands of kilometers from home taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of community. It reinforced the value of surrounding yourself with people who support, challenge, and encourage you during difficult times.
Those lessons continue to influence how I coach and support my clients today.

Edmonton, Alberta
Moving to Edmonton to attend the University of Alberta felt like opening a box full of puzzle pieces.
I had developed valuable experiences, skills, and ambitions, but I hadn't yet connected them into a clear vision for my future.
Throughout my four years at the University of Alberta, those pieces gradually came together. I gained a deeper understanding of who I wanted to become, how I wanted to serve others, and the impact I hoped to make through coaching.
It was here that my purpose became clear.

My "Why"
Fitness has given me confidence, direction, resilience, and opportunities I never imagined possible.
My goal is to help others experience the same.
Whether you're looking to improve your health, build strength, gain confidence, or simply become the best version of yourself, I'm committed to helping you get there.
Your journey is unique, but you don't have to navigate it alone.
